What We Collect

This site collects very little, and almost none of it identifies you. When you post a comment, we store the comment text, the optional display name you type, the page path and a timestamp. When you rate an item, we store the star value and the item slug. Neither carries an email address, an account or an IP address in our database.

Standard server logs and our hosting provider record technical information such as request times and general traffic patterns, which is normal for any website and used to keep the site running. If you email us or use the contact form, we hold that message and your reply address for as long as it takes to answer.

Comments and Ratings

Comments and ratings are stored in Supabase, a hosted database service. Comments publish immediately and remain visible until removed. Because posts are anonymous, avoid including personal details in a comment, since anything you type becomes publicly readable on the page.

We may remove comments that are spam, abusive, off topic or contain personal information. To have your own comment removed, email info@goldencorral-menus.us with the page and approximate posting time.

Cookies and Advertising

This site displays advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads and, where enabled, to personalize them based on prior visits to this and other sites. You can control that in Google Ad Settings, opt out of third party vendor cookies via aboutads.info, or block cookies in your browser. Blocking them does not break anything here.

Cloudflare Turnstile runs on comment and contact forms to reduce automated spam. It performs a lightweight browser check and does not track you across sites. It is deliberately non blocking: if it fails to load, your submission still goes through.

What We Store in Your Browser

Three small values live in your browser's localStorage, never on our servers. A record of which items you have rated, so the stars stay locked and you do not rate the same dish twice. Your saved meal plan from the planner tool. And recipe progress, so checked ingredients and steps survive a page refresh. Clearing site data in your browser removes all three.

Your Choices and Rights

You can browse without cookies, block advertising personalization, decline to comment, and clear browser storage at any time. If you are in a jurisdiction with data rights such as the GDPR or CCPA, you may request access to or deletion of anything we hold that relates to you. Since we store no accounts, that usually means a comment you posted or an email you sent.

Requests go to info@goldencorral-menus.us and are handled within 30 days. This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to This Policy

When this policy changes materially, the effective date at the top changes with it. The current version is effective August 2026. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
